S.W.E.

Ok, so I know I'm live a decade late for this post but oh, well. I do think that Standard Written English (henceforth "S.W.E.") should be taught in school. It is hard for one to express themselves in a way that can be understood by everyone, but if everyone knew S.W.E. I think that the odds of a miscommunications would go down a significant amount.

I don't have any suggestions as to how it should be taught, except get in there and get your hands dirty. Use different methods and see what seems to work more. I think Composition and practical use is the best way for me, but other's might see it differently. But I do think it should be taught.
